VIZcellose® 0.5% is a sterile, ophthalmic strong moisturising and protective solution, with physiological pH, based upon carmellose. Thanks to the OSD closure system- able to preserve the microbiological, chemical and physical characteristics of the solution - VIZcellose 0.5% does not contain preservative. The absence of preservatives allows the use of the solution by contact lens wearers without the need of removing them.
Carmellose (CMC) is a polysaccharide known as mucilage. It increases the residence time of tears as well as increase the viscosity of tear film. Thanks to its proprieties carmellose protects the eyes against irritation and moisture the ocular surface, relieving discomfort sensation by creating a protective, transparent and viscoelastic shield. It helps the restore of the natural tear film for a lasting relief.
VIZcellose® 0.5% relieves symptoms of dry eyes such as burning, itching, and foreign body sensation. VIZcellose 0.5% also acts as lubricant, providing relief of dry eye conditions, including those associated with the use of PC, infrequent blinking, certain medical treatments, atmospheric pollution, dry atmospheres (e.g. air conditioning, wind and sun) and ophthalmic stress due to the use of eye lenses.
VIZcellose® 0.5% with a 0.5 % of carmellose can be used in case of a mild dry eye syndrome or dry eyes symptoms or more commonly, in case of discomfort sensation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
A step-by-step guide
1. Cleanse your hands thoroughly.
2. Tear off the tamper-evident seal
before the first administration.
3. Remove the protective cap and
open the bottle.
4. Instil 1-2 drops in each eye slightly
pressing the bottle.
5. After use, close the bottle: the
content should be re-used within
the next 3 months from the first
opening.
6. It is suitable for frequent use.
Unless your doctor has told you
differently, you can use the
product even several times a day
(3 or 4 time or more often if
required) to provide sufficient
hydration. As dry eye is a condition
which varies from person to
person, the drops should be used
as often as you think necessary, to
relieve your dry eye.
7. May be used whilst wearing
contact lenses.
